Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins Release Date PS1
Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins is a continuation of a sneakdown with ninja warriors in the lead role, released in 2000. Production was released on PS1 by Activision. The game was created by Acquire also known for developing the previous installment in the series and such titles as Shinobido: Way of the Ninja and Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed.
Action Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins on PS1 takes place in feudal Japan, before the events shown in the first installment of the saga. The main characters in the production are Rikimaru and Ayame, known from the previous game, and the slightly older ninja Tatsumaru warrior. They protect Lord Gohd from enemies during the civil war. During one of his skirmishes, Tatsumar is seriously injured, losing his memory and joining enemies commanded by Lady Kagami. Rikimaru and Ayame are forced not only to defeat their enemies, but also to face an old friend.
Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins is a third-person action game with a strong emphasis on compilation aspects. The player plays one of the three available characters and performs a number of tasks based on infiltration of specific locations and silent elimination of enemies. Individual heroes have different skills; the choice of a warrior also has an impact on the plot of the production.
An important novelty compared to the first part of the cycle is the mission editor, which allows players to create new tasks on their own. The user has an influence on such elements as the map's appearance, location of enemies or the type of task to be completed.
