The Crackpet Show

The Crackpet Show is a bullet hell shooter roguelike elements. It was developed by Vixa Games, an independent Polish studio, and was published by Ravenage Games.

Plot

In The Crackpet Show we play as mutated animals that take part in a crazy, dynamic and bloody quiz show. For fame and fortune, the contestants compete against each other to the death and face huge enemies armed to the teeth.

Game mechanics

In The Crackpet Show we watch the action from a top-down view. After choosing the interesting creature there's nothing left for us to do but to join the fight. During the dynamic skirmishes we have to show great dexterity and reflexes, to efficiently maneuver between enemy bullets and perform dodges, as well as shoot accurately. It's worth to carefully watch the battlefield, because from time to time various power-ups appear on it, which give us additional advantage. We fight both with regular enemies and much more powerful bosses. Particular episodes-monsters are procedurally generated, so each time they offer different challenges.

As we progress we gain "likes" which we can spend on buying new killing tools or improvements to the ones we already have, as well as unlock useful perks.

Game modes

You can play The Crackpet Show solo or in co-op mode for up to four people.

Technical aspects

Graphics for The Crackpet Show is in a colorful style inspired by old school cartoons.
