The Elder Scrolls Online Expansion Pack
Release Date: May 21, 2018
Summerset is the tenth expansion for MMORPG title The Elder Scrolls Online. It introduces the titular island as a new location and home of High Elves, as well as new episode of the main storyline and many side quests. Additionally, for the first time in the history of the franchise, the players can join Psijic Order and learn their magic arts.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is an expansion for popular MMORPG title from 2014. Both have been released by ZeniMax Online Studios.
The add-on sends us to the titular island, a home to High Elves that has been closed for strangers, but with the decree of Queen Ayrenn it opened its borders to outsiders. After we arrive there, we will try to uncover the scheme that threatens the entire world of Tamriel.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is a classic expansion, focusing on expanding instead of adding major changes to the game. The main feature is the astoundingly huge new area of Summerset Island, filled with adventures, dungeons and NPCs. What’s more, we can join the Psijic Order for the first time in the history of the franchise. This includes visiting their secret capital and learning their unique magic, allowing us to master new combat skills, including spells that control the time.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset introduces crafting the jewelry that provides various handicaps. It also features new group PvE challenges for teams of twelve. It is also noteworthy that beginning players can access the expansion without finishing the base game or previous DLCs, with the new tutorial and starting area making sure that players won’t feel lost.
Like previous expansions, The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset requires the base version of the game and doesn’t change its audiovisuals.

Game Ratings for The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset Video Game.
GameZone: 8.5 / 10 by Cade Onder
All in all, The Elder Scrolls Online's Summerset expansion is yet another worthy addition to the MMO. Thanks to its ability to expand the lore in meaningful ways in this already super crowded game, let us all explore a breathtaking new world, and add great new side content, Summerset is another achievement for the game.
IGN: 8 / 10 by Joseph Bradford
The generically beautiful Summerset is on the smaller side in terms of overall new additions to The Elder Scrolls Online, but even after completing the majority of the side quests and all of the main storyline I feel compelled to go back. The storytelling continues to improve on last year's excellent Morrowind expansion, with Zenimax Online not shying away from some of the darkest sides of Tamriel. While the Psijic Order quest line has its boring bits, the down-to-earth, human story makes putting up with the repetitive quests worth the hassle. The new jewelry crafting profession, on the other hand, is far too time-consuming to be practical without spending money at the Crown Shop.
Push Square: 7 / 10 by Robert Ramsey
The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is another easy expansion to recommend to existing players. It's stuffed with high quality quests, and the island itself makes for an inviting and enjoyable setting. Developer ZeniMax Online Studios has found a real consistency with its output, and the future continues to look bright for Tamriel.
