Plot

The plot of The Silent Age starts in 1972. We play as an employee of a mysterious organization, who gets paid for cleaning the corridors and not asking any questions. Our virtual alter ego in this story doesn't stand out from the crowd. He has no special talents, he hasn't been successful, but he also never experienced any serious failures. The protagonist's existence comes to an end one day when during his work, he encounters a dying scientist. Before his death, the man reveals that the world will be extinct in 40 years and it can only be stopped with the use of a time machine. The first journey into the future confirms the truth of these words and the protagonist realizes with horror that it is up to him to stop the apocalypse.
