The Wild at Heart is an adventure game with arcade and strategy elements, developed by independent Moonlight Kids studio. This is the debut project of an American development team.

The Wild at Heart tells the story of 12-year-old Wake from the town of Willowvale, who likes to spend time alone, escaping the difficulties of everyday life and family problems by playing video games, among other things.

One night, he and his best friend Kirby set off for a forest near his village and find themselves in another world - the forgotten kingdom of Deep Woods, full of magical creatures, including hostile creatures, ancient chapels and caves where secrets the heroes did not dream of are hidden. The kids need to revive the Greenshield guards' order and stop an evil force called Th Never.

The Wild at Heart is an adventure game in which we control a small army of minions - magical creatures called Spritelings, to whom we give orders. We can use them to destroy objects, collect loot, fight against supernatural creatures or build paths to avoid an obstacle.

When exploring a unique world, it is also important to collect raw materials such as magical crystals, garbage and electrical components to create new items and improvements. In battle, the hero can use not only magical creatures, but also an invaluable vacuum cleaner called Gustbuster.

Technical aspects

The world presented in The Wild at Heart is extremely colourful, and the locations visited have been filled with elements emphasizing its magic and oddity. The artistic setting of the game brings to mind illustrations from the best children's books.
