Twisted Voxel: 9 / 10 by Salal Awan
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Remastered makes a strong technical leap on Switch 2, pairing smooth 40 FPS gameplay with VRR, portable-friendly visuals, and extensive features. Docked image quality and inconsistent HDR presentation hold it back, but the free upgrade and complete content package make this a substantial modernisation.
Nintendo Life: 9 / 10 by George Yang
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt still remains one of the best RPGs out there. This could be seen as a needless remaster, but that's not the case on the Switch 2. The biggest complaint about the original Switch version was its visuals, and this remaster definitely improves on those. Along with some genuinely helpful additions like better animations and new accessibility options, there's no better time to experience this adventure than now.Sure, the combat still isn't the best even after more than a decade since the original release on other platforms, and there are some performance problems lingering. But the fact that it's easy to overlook these is a testament to how amazing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered is.
CBR: 10 / 10 by Mark O'Callaghan
The Remastered doesn’t change things visually, but adds several tweaks to the gameplay and mechanics to make the game feel like it just came out. Gamers don’t need another excuse to play The Witcher 3, but the Remastered makes a compelling case for replaying Geralt’s journey.
