Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: Molten Mirrors

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: Molten Mirrors is the third major expansion for the spin-off of the Borderlands series - a shooter with a pinch of paper RPG magic and a large dose of humor. The add-on was developed by Gearbox Software and the publisher is 2K Games.

Plot

Delving into the third Vesper's first Mirror of Mystery, we discover the heavily fortified prison of Fyodor the Soul Warden, who is holding hordes of lost souls there. We must free them by breaking into this mountain fortress and defeating powerful mechanized defenses - bone-crushing hammers, flared furnaces or terror-powered towers. The fortune-teller Vesper seems to be exceptionally keen on getting Fyodor right, though it's not clear why.

Game mechanics

The expansion, similarly to the previous two, introduces a new dungeon and a plot thread culminating in a boss fight with Fyodor the Soul Warden. As in the earlier add-ons, he takes increasingly powerful forms with successive battles, unlocked during the first three weeks after the release. Re-entering the added dungeon also brings the benefit of new equipment - legendary and cosmetic items. However, we have to be careful, as dying while completing a mission means having to start from the beginning.

If we defeat Fyodor at least once, four unique level layouts and himself as a boss will be added to the The Chaos Chambers in the endgame.
