Transistor is a science-fiction arcade cRPG. It was developed by Supergiant Games, the creators of universally acclaimed Bastion.

The action takes place in a futuristic city. We assume the role of a young woman who miraculously avoids death at the hands of a group of murderers. The assaulters left behind a mysterious sword with extraordinary properties. It will serve as us our main weapon in the campaign, in which we try to find its previous wielders and uncover its true destiny. It will not be an easy task, though, for enemy forces are following the heroine’s every step and will stop at nothing to recover the sword.

In Transistor, we spend most of the time on fighting hordes of enemies. Our successes are rewarded with experience points with which we develop the skills of the protagonist. The plot is not secondary, however. Transistor offers a rich story full of interesting characters and surprising plot twists.
