Treadnauts

Treadnauts is an arcade shooter designed primarily for multiplayer, and designed by the independent studio Topstitch Games.

Mechanics

In Treadnauts the action is shown from the side. During the game we play as a character of our choice, sit at the helm of a tank and take part in dynamic duels fought in various arenas. The devs provide us with an extensive arsenal of guns and tools, consisting of rocket launchers and homing missiles, laser guns or a rope with a hook; we get them by picking up power-ups appearing on the maps.

The key to victory is not only to shoot accurately, but also to master useful tricks such as sticking to walls, executing rocket jumps or sliding on flat surfaces. Various modifiers, such as zero gravity or even bullets bouncing off the walls, add variety to the battles.

As we progress, we gain new levels and unlock new characters.
