Treasure Planet is a Disney Interactive game released on the occasion of the premiere of an animated film of the same title. Both the film and the game are a modern version of science fiction, Robert Louis Stevenson's classic adventure novel Treasure Island. The action of the game is set in a futuristic fantasy world, where space is crossed by beautiful sailing ships, galleons, frigates and other 18th century ships. The events presented in the game take place five years after those known from animated films. Jim Hawkins finishes the Royal Navy Academy and starts his career in the navy. The Empire is a step away from signing a peace treaty with the eternal enemy, the Procyons, and it seems that peace will finally prevail. However, suddenly new, unknown aggressors begin to appear in space, emptying planets and transport ships. Our hero, as a navy officer, has to stand up to the new threat.
