Tukoni is a free point'n'click adventure game based on the award-winning graphic novel series by Oksana Buli. The game has been developed by a three-person Ukrainian development team.

Plot

The game tells the story of Tukoni, the forest spirit and the greatest friend of the forests. Tukoni take care of plants and animals. During the journey through the magical world we meet extraordinary forest inhabitants, doing the good and helping in need.

Tukoni has no dialogues - the thoughts are only represented by means of animation in speech balloons, like in a comic book.

Mechanics

In terms of the game mechanics, Tukoni is a very simple game in which we discover the forest world by interacting with selected elements of the environment and the creatures we meet. In the game, we collect various types of items that can be combined with each other thanks to the uncomplicated crafting. The proper use of findings and solving of enchanting puzzles that require logical thinking allows to push the story forward. A notepad, which serves as a guide and task diary, is extremely helpful during the journey.

Technical aspects

The 2D graphic design of Tukoni brings to mind the books on which the game is based.They are composed of hand-drawn illustrations, which have been drawn by the Ukrainian artist Oksana Bula.
