After the release of the grand strategy game Victoria 3 in 2022, Paradox Development focused on producing a series of DLCs for the 19th-century-set title. One of the add-ons is Iberian Twilight, which offers new historical characters, landmarks, unit models, as well as a new interface and map skin in the Iberian style.

New features in the add-on

This Immersion Pack introduces two new countries: Spain and Portugal, immersed in the struggle between the forces of liberalism and counter-revolution. After losing their possessions on the American continent due to the Napoleonic Wars, both nations must decide how to adapt to the post-imperial reality.

Spain in the year of our Lord 1836 is in the midst of a civil war between the government of Isabella II and the Carlists led by Don Carlos. Amidst the conflict, there are economic and political reforms, the establishment of relations with former colonies, and the resolution of military dictators' ambitions through a modified coup system.
