British studio Bulkhead Interactive made itself known to gamers by creating a network FPS titled Battalion 1944, set during World War II. Working on their next project, the developers followed the path they had set before, preparing Wardogs, yet another shooter focused on multiplayer gameplay.

Gameplay

In Wardogs, we view the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The production takes us to modern battlefields, presented in the form of maps with an open structure. The mainstay of the game are skirmishes involving up to 100 players, who are divided into three teams. We move around the locations on foot or at the controls of vehicles and machines (from tanks to helicopters).

The gameplay has a tactical bent and emphasizes thoughtful, coordinated actions. The environment is prone to destruction, which can be used to your advantage, primarily by depriving enemies of cover. Although the same thing can happen to us, the building system comes to our aid, allowing us to erect makeshift structures to protect us from enemy fire. Examples include barriers made of sandbags.
