Battalion: Legacy

Release Date: May 23, 2019

Action, FPP, World War II, Free-to-play, FPS, Online, Shooters, Multiplayer, Internet, LAN

A multiplayer-focused first-person shooter set during the World War 2, developed by British Bulkhead Interactive studio. The maps on which we play are inspired by real battlefields of the Great War, like the streets of Carentan or the forests near Bastogne. We play as an infantry soldier and take part in dynamic, purely arcade battles – though not without a good dose of realism, visible in e.g. faithfully recreated weapons.

Battalion 1944 is a first-person shooter for PC, PS4 and XONE and focusing on multiplayer matches. It has been developed by a British Bulkhead Interactive studio.

Gameplay

Battalion 1944 for PC, PS4 and XONE doesn’t have single player campaign, offering only multiplayer experience. Game is focused on fast-paced infantry battles, with gameplay being purely arcade, but with a huge dose of realism, visible in weapons’ behavior. It also puts an emphasis on player’s skill, as we won’t find any kind of special powers or character development system that would give us access to better skills and items. All that we will get for our victories are cosmetic additions, for example badges or option of signing weapon with our name. None of this additions has any in-game effects.
