The logic game titled Unpacking, released in 2021, allowed us to arrange interiors in a cozy atmosphere. Over the years it gained a number of imitators. Whisper of the House, a work by the independent GD Studio, is among them. It expands on the well-known mechanics with a number of additional elements.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Whisper of the House takes place in a city that we view in an isometric perspective.

Interior decoration

The main element of the game is furnishing and decorating interiors, which we do either on our own, taking care of our own house, or on the orders of independent characters, helping them with moves or household chores.

The game allows us not only to arrange furniture, place everyday items or decorate interiors, but also to look into cabinets, drawers and other nooks in search of surprises and interactive items.

Exploring the city and meeting the residents

That's not all, as the game also allows us to freely explore the city. Various secrets await discovery in the game world. We can also meet diverse characters, each of whom has a unique history and personality.
