Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori

A simulator of a female Mongolian courier from the 13th century. The gameplay in Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori revolves around horse breeding and we use mounts to travel the open world. We must survive in the hostile environment and complete various assignments, often using a bow to stay alive.
Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori is a simulator of a Yam worker and it recreates the Mongolian postal system from the 13th century. The game features a third-person perspective and is part of the Windstorm series, which gameplay revolves around horses. The development was supported on Kickstarter and was handled by Aesir Interactive studios (creators of Windstorm: Start of a Great Friendship) and NightinGames.
In the game, we play as a woman who delivers mail on horseback. This requires us to strategically plan routes through vast steppes, snow-capped peaks or scorching desert, where we and our mounts face diseases, injuries and other threats.
In order to increase the chances of survival, we are involved in crossbreeding horses with special characteristics. We tame new horses to obtain new coloration or attributes. To meet the tasks we receive, we will need not only the appropriate means of transportation, but also mastery of horse riding, which will be helped by training animals.
Archery plays a big role in Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori. We use various types of arrows to gather resources, solve puzzles, defend against wildlife, and ultimately for hunting.
Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori runs on Unreal Engine.
