World of Sea Battle is an interactive sailing-themed MMO adventure. It is a historical title and its development was handled by Thera Interactive, an independent studio from Russia.

Gameplay

The player takes on the role of one of many sea captains in an open world. His activities include sailing, exploration, trading, upgrading historical ships, and finally, combat using projectiles: both against AI-controlled units and in the context of territorial wars between player-created guilds.

We directly control one vessel at a time, while the other ships in the group follow us. We choose from over fifty ships, from schooners, through galleons, brigantines, to frigates. Each of them must be manned by a crew.

By engaging in the transportation of goods, fishing, or creating production chains, we gather the necessary gold. The economy in World of Sea Battle is based on the actions of players, who, with sufficient funds, can acquire their own private island. It is a place for fleet repairs and further income through wealth flowing in from distant mines and workshops.
