Worms Game Series

A humorous series of turn-based strategies with logical and arcade elements, starring the titular worms. The series is developed by the Team17 Digital development studio. The father of the Worms series is British game designer Andy Davidson. The first installment of the series was released in 1994 for personal computers (Amiga, PC and Mac) and fifth-generation consoles (PlayStation, Mega Drive and SNES). The title was considered an extremely successful combination of Cannon Fodder and Lemmings, thanks to which it very quickly gained great popularity among gamers. Team17 Digital almost immediately began work on expansions and a full-fledged sequel. In total, over the course of almost 30 years, we got more than 18 main games, as well as a number of spin-offs and re-releases. The series got its own battle royale mode, golf or pinball.
