The player chooses two characters before the battle. They can control only one of them simultaneously but can also switch between them during the fight.

As we play, we will explore the open world of Gamea, collect various items, solve riddles, and fight with the encountered enemies.

Flat Kingdom Paper’s Cut Edition takes us to the titular realm where people have always lived in happiness and wealth. The peace is over, though, as Hex - a three-dimensional thief - is back. He stole the six Magical Jewels that kept the flat world away from the third dimension and, to make matters worse, he kidnapped the heir to the throne.
