Yet Another Zombie Survivors PC

Yet Another Zombie Survivors is the second installment of a series originating from 2014, in which we face hordes of undead. The sequel is a twin-stick shooter with RPG and roguelike elements. It was developed by the same team as the previous game, the independent Polish Awesome Game Studio.

Plot

Just like in its predecessor, the story of Yet Another Zombie Survivors doesn't matter much. When a virus turning people into zombies spreads around the world, the titular survivors decide to go on the offensive against the undead hordes.

Mechanics

The gameplay of Yet Another Zombie Survivors is showed from an isometric perspective. Before starting the game we can choose whether we want to play as a single character, single-handedly mowing down hundreds of zombies (or at least trying to), or to lead a team. There are a number of characters to choose from with diverse classes, weapons and skills.

The game revolves around murdering hordes of undead. Depending on our character class we can use either melee weapons (like katanas), pistols, shotguns, rifles, bows or even flamethrowers and rocket launchers. As we progress through the game, our abilities develop - we unlock new weapons and characters, as well as acquire new skills and upgrades for other characters.

Experienced players can also increase the virus's capabilities, making zombies faster and more durable.

Technical aspects

The visuals of Yet Another Zombie Survivors are decent. The game is quite bleak, as it takes place mainly during the night, with only gunshots and explosions to light the surroundings.
