Zlin City: Arch Moderna

To do so, we are laying out streets, laying tracks and erecting orchestrated buildings. We not only put the latter in the places we choose, but design them from scratch, deciding on their masses and heights. Issues such as the placement of windows or doors are handled automatically by the game.

In addition to buildings, we can also place other objects in Zlin. In addition, the title allows us to add various accents, such as benches and trash garbage cans, lamp posts, fountains or cars on the roads and trains on the tracks.

Encyclopedia of Zlin

An encyclopedia is built into Zlin City: Arch Moderna, which allows us to learn more about the title's city, its inhabitants and the events that took place here over the decades.

Graphics and engine

The visuals of Zlin City: Arch Moderna consist of authentic models of buildings, vehicles and other elements of the environment, which were designed and painted by hand (and produced using 3D printing) and scanned using photogrammetry and transferred to the game.

The title runs on Unreal Engine 5, and the feeling of interacting with a real diorama is enhanced by the fact that the gameplay takes place on a large table, on which, in addition to the game world map, props such as spray paint are placed.
