Zorya: The Celestial Sisters

Mechanics

In Zorya: The Celestial Sisters the gameplay differs depending on which of the sisters you are playing. After taking control over Aysu we watch the action from the third person perspective (TPP). Traversing colorful levels in the skin of the fallen goddess of the night, we have to stay in the shadows. The protagonist can't fight, but she can create gusts of wind with which she moves various objects and pushes her enemies, exposing her targets to the light of day. Her sister, who is controlled by the second player, can take care of them there.

As Solveig we see the action from a top-down view, which allows us to quickly orient ourselves in the situation on the map. Furthermore, as the goddess of the day, we can control the time of day, thus changing the lighting of the location and creating new paths for Aysu. In addition, Solveig has the power to neutralize enemies and activate various mechanisms ( if they are well lighted).

Since the two sisters complement each other, the key to success here is close cooperation between two players. This is the only way to cope with the various puzzles and deal with opponents who stand in Aysu's way.

Game modes

In Zorya: The Celestial Sisters you can play only in co-op mode. The game offers multiplayer gameplay both over the Internet (cross-platform feature has been implemented here) and on the split screen.
