Graveyard Keeper: How to develop shops?

In Graveyard Keeper you can trade with some of the NPCs. Most retailers (Clotho, Farmer, Horadric, Astrolog, Cory, Tress, Merchant, Krezvold, Dig, The Lighthouse Keeper, Adam) have 2 or 3 store levels. Those levels can be gained to unlock access to better and cheaper items. We have prepared a list of tips that will allow you to easily unlock those higher levels.

The levels are not available for Rose, Shepard and The Beekeeper.

To evaluate the level of the merchant, you need to interact with the NPC and look at the element shown in the above screenshot.

Sell your items

In Graveyard Keeper you can sell the resources and items you managed to acquire. All you need to do is to find an NPC merchant and offer your belongings for sale. The more items you sell to a specific merchant, the quicker you will advance the level of the store.

Complete missions for merchants

Merchants in the city have a large amount of missions waiting for you. The more often you will work for them, the more friendly they will be towards you - the more friendly they will be, the higher the chance for new, better items.

Buy, buy and buy even more

Merchant NPCs are there to make a profit. The more items you buy from them, the faster you will get to the next level.
