Chapter 6 - Battle of Takodana | Walkthrough LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Guide

The chapter mostly consists of long battles in which the heroes must eliminate squadrons of the First Order. In addition to the regular stormtroopers the player must also defeat FN-2199 who is the boss. In the final part of the mission player will control X-Wing and participate in aerial battles.

Unlocking chapter 6 - the surface of Takodana planet

Use the rotating mechanism to transport BB-8 above

Before you can start the sixth chapter of the main campaign you will have to explore at least a small part of Takodana. You can seriously explore the area or focus only on reaching the location where the next main story mission starts. If you select the latter, then start following the transparent studs.

Select Rey, use the climbing wall and then find the rotating mechanism above. Interact with it as Rey. Wait for BB-8 to be transported above and switch to the small robot. Reach the closed gate as BB-8 and position him in the nearby socket. Start performing circular moves in order to raise the gate. Now you can switch back to Rey and walk to the place where the mission starts.

Battles in the palace corridors

The first place where Finn must use his lightsaber on the environmental object

Select Finn and start walking through the palace corridors. Eliminate stormtroopers encountered on your way. Once you reach the closed door, you will have to use Finn's lightsaber for the first time in order to unlock the passage. Use the sword at the door and hold the down directional button (or move the analog stick down) to remove the barricade.

In the next area you must eliminate groups of enemies and avoid contact with water which will unnecessarily slow down Finn's movements. Don't move towards the enemy with flamethrower, you won't be able to defeat him by using conventional methods. Focus on finding the locked cage on the right side. Once again you must use lightsaber - this time the cut must be performed to the left. After uncovering the small hatch, switch to Maz Kanata and use it.

Push the chest down and start using the bricks to eliminate new enemies

Defeat the new stormtroopers and then place the bricks in the place where there is the missing part of the path. Now you can position yourself to the right from the large chest and start pushing it to the left so that it will fall down and break up.

Select any of the characters below and interact with the jumping bricks which appeared in the place where the chest broke. You must use them to construct two different objects (a bomb and exploding cake). You can do it in any order you want. The first constructed object will allow you to get rid of regular stormtroopers and the second one will allow you to eliminate the enemy with the flamethrower.

Once you eliminate the enemy equipped with flamethrower, the first of a few blaster battles will automatically start. During the first battle you should focus on attacking the stronger trooper equipped with heavy blaster. Use manual aiming mode to attack him. If the currently controlled character is under heavy fire from that opponent, then switch to different character in order to continue attacking the target.

During the next battle you must eliminate five regular stormtroopers. What makes it harder is the fact that enemy TIE fighters will be bombarding the area. The places where the bombs will land are marked with red color and an example area like that is shown on above picture. When you notice the warning, quickly move to the left or to the right as the controlled character or switch to different character.

After reaching the upper ledge you can easily eliminate the turret and the sniper

During the next phase of the battles, you will have to eliminate the regular stormtroopers and additionally an enemy with a turret hidden behind a force shield and a sniper. Select a character with a grappling hook, for example Finn. Reach the upper right attachment shown in the recent cutscene. Catch it and you will reach the upper balcony. From behind the cover on the upper balcony you can easily destroy the turret and kill the sniper. You can eliminate the remaining opponents in any way you want.

Scan the statue and drop one of Chewbacca's bombs there

Once you reach the next part of the battle, enemy forces will place a heavy turret on the path. Select Han Solo and reach as him to the place with the blue sticks. Press the interaction button in order to use Quadnoculars. Use the device to scan the right large monument. Now switch to Chewbacca, reach the cover closest to the monument, lean from behind the cover and throw the thermal detonator at the statue. The explosion will knock the monument and destroy the turret.

The final part of battles is much easier. You must eliminate two enemies with flamethrowers (they will appear one after another). During this battle you should ignore other enemies and use manual aiming in order to lock on elite stormtroopers. If one of them will position himself near the exploding chest, you can use it and blow it up, but you will easily win even without it. Once the battles are over, walk further and eliminate some new regular stormtroopers. Soon FN-2199 will appear and a battle with this miniboss will start.

Battle with FN-2199

Avoid FN-2199's attacks until he is stunned

Select Finn for the battle. Start running through the arena on which the battle will take place. Don't try attacking FN-2199 in regular way. Instead of that, focus on avoiding his attacks. After one of his unsuccessful attacks the boss will be temporarily stunned. Use it to quickly run towards FN-2199 and attack him a few times.

Construct traps which can weaken the boss

After some time FN-2199 will surround himself with a force field and he will call some regular stormtroopers for help. Start attacking them. If needed, collect the hearts dropped by them to fully regenerate.

Ignore FN-2199 after eliminating regular stormtroopers (you would receive damage after getting close to him) and walk towards the multi construction bricks located in the central part of the arena. Use the bricks to construct one of three available traps.

In the final phase of the duel you must press the button shown on the screen

The construction you built will deal damage to the boss. You must once again start running through the screen, avoid enemy attacks and wait for the boss to be stunned. Only after that you should perform your own attacks.

During the rest of the duel you should repeat these actions - eliminate the regular stormtroopers and construct traps that will weaken the boss. Make sure to always use the bricks to construct some new object instead of a trap that you used previously. In the final phase of the duel you must keep pressing the button shown on the screen. This will lead you to defeating FN-2199.

Aerial battle

Shoot down the TIE fighters and then the transporters

The final phase of this chapter starts on the deck of Poe Dameron's X-Wing. During the first part of this aerial battle you must shoot down 15 TIE fighters. Select your targets in any order you want. You must try avoiding enemy fire - perform side rolls, barrels and keep away from red crosshairs appearing on the screen.

During the second phase of the battle you must destroy ten enemy transporters. It is much easier to do since they are slower than TIE fighters and they cannot perform advanced maneuvers.

Find the allied transporter and escort it

In the final, third part of the battle you must destroy three TIE fighters of a special squad. They will be attacking allied transporter. Try quickly finding that transporter (green arrows will point you towards it) and focus only on attacking the enemies around it. You can completely ignore all other TIE fighters. The battle will end once you save the transporter.
