Melt the ice using the flamethrower.
Use Force to build a climbing wall for a character with high agility (like Rey).
Walk over the narrow ledge.
Defeat 9 stormtroopers by the Millennium Falcon.
Use the dark side of the Force to uncover a socket for BB-8. Charge it and disable the forcefield.
Use the dressing room and put on the middle helmet. Once you've done that go to the scanner.
Choose Rey and begin climbing the wall. During the climb you must use ledges and jump towards poles. Finish the climb by using the platform which will catapult your character to a new area.
Find an anchor point to the north of the collectible. Use manual aiming to grab the anchor point. Once you're up top build a nest and place BB-8 on it. The cannon will fire and afterwards you can go to collect the brick.
Find a cracked wall to the east of the collectible and smash through it with a strong character (like Grummgar).
Destroy all objects from the environment (use dark side of the Force to help yourself out). After that use the bricks to construct 2 vehicles and watch a short cut-scene.
Use a vehicle to reach an upper ledge and then destroy a golden rock with a heavy blaster.
Begin on the ledge where you've found carbonite brick number 7. Choose a character with a jetpack and fly to the new ledge. After you've landed melt the ice with a flamethrower.
Use the Force to move the wreck and jump into the water when playing as Admiral Ackbar.
Smash through a cracked wall with Grummgar or another strong character.
Race - It takes place in a forest. Choose a small vehicle for this race (like the Resistance Freight Transporter).
Translate mission - You must be playing as C-3PO or a similar character. Go to the green area on the map. You must defeat 12 different droids in a battle.
Race - Use a vehicle of your choosing to win it.
General mission - Defeat 10 stormtroopers in a snowball fight.
Race - Use a vehicle of your choosing to win it.
General mission - Charge the socket with BB-8 to repair the TIE fighter. After that use the TIE fighter to win the race.
General mission - Shoot down 15 light and 5 heavy Resistance fighters.
Bounty hunter mission - You must be playing as Boba Fett or another bounty hunter. Defeat a rancor beast (choose your style of play - unarmed combat, melee weapons, ranged weapons).
Scavenger mission - Play as scavenger (like Rey in a suit or Quinar). You must visit three green areas. In the first area use the Quadnoculars and grab the two anchor points, in the second area destroy nearby objects and in the third area uncover a small hatch and use it while playing as BB-8.
Scavenger mission - Play as scavenger (like Rey in a suit or Quinar). You must visit four green areas on the map to obtain stormtrooper helmets. In the lower left area use the Quadnoculars and thermal detonators, in the lower right area jump between ledges, in the upper left area use the terminal while playing as a stormtrooper, in the upper right area defeat a group of mynocks.
Race - Use a vehicle of your choosing to win it.
First Order mission - You must be playing as its member (like Captain Phasma or Kylo Ren). Use the terminal to unlock a small room. Interact with multibuild bricks there and construct generators in three different places.
General mission - Shoot down 15 standard fighters and 7 elite ones.
First Order mission - Use the Quadnoculars to uncover the climbing wall and get to the upper room. You must be playing as a First Order member like Captain Phasma or Kylo Ren. Complete the blaster battle and go to the marked hangar. Find a teddy bear there on one of the beds.
Bounty hunter mission - Use the Quadnoculars to uncover the climbing wall and get to the upper room. You must be playing as a bounty hunter (like Boba Fett for example). Shoot down 20 enemy flying machines.
Race - You must use the First Order Snowspeeder to complete this race.
General mission - Choose Captain Phasma and order nearby stormtroopers to follow her. You must step on groups of pressure plate in the same order as in the cut-scene - on the first, fourth, third and second group.
First Order mission - You must be playing as its member (like Captain Phasma or Kylo Ren). Go to the green area on the map and use manual aiming to grab the nearby anchor point. You'll get to a small ledge and you must collect a blue datacard here.
General mission - Choose one of the Microfighters and win the battle by destroying 8 enemy machines.
General mission - Complete it as BB-8. Destroy all objects on the landing strip.
First Order mission - You can get to the upper platform by grabbing an anchor point or jumping on a fan. You must be playing as a member of this faction. Destroy 12 enemy machines during the re-enactment.

Scavenger mission - Play as scavenger (like Rey in a suit or Quinar). Follow the studs. Once you've reached your destination use a terminal when playing as a stormtrooper. Switch to BB-8 and head through the hatch to recover the weapon.
Race - You must use Poe Dameron's X-Wing to complete this race.
General mission - Choose one of the Microfighters and win the battle by destroying 8 enemy machines.
Race - Use a vehicle of your choosing to win it.
Resistance mission - You must be playing as its member (like Han Solo). Use the Quadnoculars, scan the hage and destroy it with a thermal detonator. Finish off by defeating a beast.
First Order mission - Use the terminal to disable the forcefield. You must be playing as its member (like Captain Phasma or Kylo Ren). Construct an object using nearby bricks and pick up a datacard.
Resistance mission - You must be playing as its member (like Han Solo). The objective is to destroy 3 transport ships. You can destroy two of them right away by aiming at the explosives. As for the third, you must first use your Quadnoculars and then thermal detonators.
General mission - Go to the landing site and eliminate all the mynocks attached to the TIE fighters.
First Order mission - You must be playing as its member (like Captain Phasma or Kylo Ren). Go to the upper control room which is accessible using a climbing wall. You must initiate a conversation there.

The map presents Starkiller Base that you can explore as you please between completed missions. You can come across the following attractions:

  • 31 side missions (9 general missions, 7 races, 7 First Order missions, 3 Scavenger missions, 2 Rebel Alliance missions, 2 bounty hunter missions, 1 translation mission)
  • 55 gold LEGO block (14 LEGO blocks can be found through exploring the area, 41 are a reward for finding carbonite Lego blocks and completing side quests).
  • 10 carbonite LEGO blocks

Some of the mentioned attractions will be available from the very beginning but other will require characters with specific abilities. The more complex attractions will be described further in the text.

Remember! Certain LEGO blocks and side missions will not be visible on the map right away. Don't worry about that and deal with the ones that you can collect/complete now. This will allow you to unlock more of them.

Remember! Some secrets might be hard to reach due to several bugs. We describe them further on in the walkthrough. Some interactive ledges can be especially hard to grab. If you are unable to determine the place where the grappling hook can be automatically attached, use the manual aim and aim at the ledge that you want to use.

Gold LEGO block 1

In order to obtain this block you will need to find and destroy five snowmen similar to the one presented in the screenshot - Starkiller Base collectibles & minor missions map - Maps - LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Game Guide

In order to obtain this block you will need to find and destroy five snowmen similar to the one presented in the screenshot. The first one can be found in the location presented in the map. The remaining four are scattered across the area, so use our marking to find them.

Gold LEGO block 8

To obtain this block you will need to reach the upper control room - Starkiller Base collectibles & minor missions map - Maps - LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Game Guide

To obtain this block you will need to reach the upper control room. It's crucial to mention that you need to get there to complete two other side quests: 14 and 15. Choose any character with Quadnoculars and use it to reveal the wall presented in the screenshot. Switch to an agile character (e.g. Rey) and get to the top balcony. Use the ladder to reach your goal.

Carbonite LEGO block 3

To reach this block you will have to climb the wall presented in the screenshot - Starkiller Base collectibles & minor missions map - Maps - LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Game Guide

To reach this block you will have to climb the wall presented in the screenshot. To perform this, use Rey or any other agile character. Once you reach the highest ledge, start jumping across poles on the right. Finally, use the platform that will catapult Ray to the left and make her get to the treasure.

This is one of the best hidden blocks especially that it is even harder to get to it due to a bug. Head north from the marking on the map and locate the spot to use your grappling hook (see screenshot). The game will probably prevent you from using your grappling hook automatically, so switch to manual aim (remember to use a character with a grappling hook, e.g. Han Solo). Once you reach the top, destroy the scattered objects and build a spot for BB-8. Wait for the cannon to fire. Now you can collect the block.

To reach the ledge with block no. 7, you can use any vehicle - all you need to do is to gain speed and get to the very top. To get the very block you need a character with a heavy blaster that will allow you to destroy gold objects (e.g. Captain Phasma). When it comes to block no. 8, you need a character with a jetpack (e.g. Athgar Heece) and fly towards the ledge presented in the screenshot. Melt down the ice with a flamethrower.

Finishing this race can cause some problems, due to the fact that is takes place in a forest area and it's easy to bump into one of the trees. It's best to pick one of the smallest available vehicles e.g. Resistance Freight Transporter presented in the screenshot. Once the race begins drive at minimal speed and focus on dodging all the trees. Help yourself by manually turning the camera left and right.

Mission 9 (Scavenger)

It's one of the longest side quests. Once you decide to accept this task (you need to play as one of the Scavengers e.g. Rey or Quinar) you will have to perform several activities across three green areas on the map. The middle area will require you to use the Quadnoculars to discover two spots where your grappling hook can be used. Now you will have to select two characters equipped with grappling hooks and use them. All you have to do in the lower part is to smash surrounding objects. In the upper part you will have to locate a hatch and use it as e.g. BB-8. You will be taken to a small upper ledge with the desired object.

This mission is also rather long. Your task is to obtain Troopers' helmets, and thus you will have to investigate four green areas. Use the Quadnoculars in the lower left corner to reveal the silver object, and then destroy it with a thermal detonator. There is an interactive ledge in the bottom left area. Use it to climb up and obtain one of the helmets. Use the terminal in the upper left area (use one of the First Order characters). You will have to defeat a group of mynocks in the upper right part of the area.

Mission 16 (Race)

Mission 17 (First Order)

It's nest to select Captain Phasma for this quest. Use her and approach a group of three troopers and make them follow you. In order to solve the puzzle you will need to position yourself on plates presented in the screenshot. It's crucial that you do this in the right order (see cut scene). The right order is 1, 4, 3, 2.

Mission 18 (First Order)

Start the mission as any of First Order members, and get to the green area marked on the map. You will face the same issue as with carbonite LEGO block no. 4. The game may not allow you to use the grappling hook automatically, so you should use manual aim instead (see screenshot). Of course, you will need a hero with a grappling hook e.g. Han Solo. This way you will reach the upper shelf with a blue memory card. Collect the item.

Mission 20 (General)

This mission is tricky as a bug may actually prevent you from finishing it. You should start by playing as BB-8. Once the mission starts, turn around. You should see objects scattered around. You should destroy them before the time runs out. Otherwise, get back to this quest once you deal with other missions in this part of the map.

Mission 24 (race)

You can only take part in this race if you have Poe Damerons X-Wing (see screenshot) - Starkiller Base collectibles & minor missions map - Maps - LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Game Guide

You can only take part in this race if you have Poe Dameron's X-Wing (see screenshot).

Mission 29 (Rebel Alliance)

You can begin this mission only if you play as a member of Rebel Alliance e - Starkiller Base collectibles & minor missions map - Maps - LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Game Guide

You can begin this mission only if you play as a member of Rebel Alliance e.g. Han Solo. Your task is to destroy three hostile transporters by shooting explosive objects. You should be able to destroy two transporters with a single explosion. The third one can be reached by using Quadnoculars, and locating another explosive object (see screenshot) and throwing a thermal detonator.
