Available landing zones where you can begin the mission. If you want to start following the interpreter choose the southern landing zone and if you want to get to the Viscount as soon as possible choose the northern landing zone.
You can avoid the guard posts or secure them.
You can trail the interpreter so that it'll help you in finding Viscout, but it's not mandatory. If you want to complete one of the hidden objectives you must listen in to all of his prisoner interrogations. The first ones will take place in a small hut (4 on the map) and in the main camp (6 on the map). The interpreter will then go to a building where the Viscount was taken (8 on the map).
The prisoner will be interrogated by the interpreter (3 on the map). You should listen in on the conversation and save the prisoner once it's over.
There are two prisoners in this camp (6 on the map). You will also find an intel file on the locations of the prisoners and two large materials containers (hidden mission objectives).
One of the prisoners will be held here from the beginning of the mission and the other one will be brought here from the area where the interpreter was stationed (3 on the map). Both of the prisoners will then be interrogated (listen in on the conversation). Save them once the interrogation is over.
Area where the Viscount is being held at the beggining of the mission. You can rescue him before he's escorted to a nearby hut (8 on the map) or you can allow for that to happen (so that you'll have a chance to listen to the last interrogation).
Viscount will be brought here later in the mission. You can wait for the interpreter to show up and listen in on the last interrogation. Once it's over save Viscount.
You'll also find two materials containers here (hidden mission objective).

The above map presents the area of operation for the fourteenth main mission of Metal Gear Solid V - Lingua Franca. Depending on your mode of action, you can either start by following the interpreter (point 3 on the map) or immediately head for the Viscount (point 7 or 8 on the map). An important part of the area of operation is the enemy camp (point 5 on the map), where you can complete a number of secondary objectives (rescuing the POWs, fultoning containers, finding intel data).
