The maps in Minecraft Dungeons are quite open. They often don't have any edges, which makes it very easy to fall off the map. On this page of our guide we explain if you can fall off the map and what may happen after that.

Yes. If you travel close to the edge of the map then you can easily fall off the map. You can also be pushed out by your opponents that may throw you off the road.
Consequences of falling off the map

If you fall off the map or fall into a hole, for example, with water, you only lose some part of your health. This is dangerous only in cases when you have low amount of HP and the fall will take away one of your lives.
