Minecraft Earth: How does the crafting system work?
Last update:
Just like in the classic Minecraft, in the Earth edition, you will be able to craft items which can allow you to build (or create) more advanced constructions or objects. On this page of our guide we have provided useful information related to this aspect of gameplay.

The crafting panel has been divided into two segments - construction and smelting. They differ from each other by the pool of available objects that can be manufactured. They work on the principle of gradual discovery of subsequent items. So, if you create some other object/item from the basic raw material, the number of available schemes will automatically increase.
The background color of the object / item informs you whether you can craft it. If it lights up red it means that you don't have enough raw materials to craft it - then when you click on this particular item you will be able to notice a list of all required components to check what's missing.

You can produce and craft items which have a grey background. In case of smelting, in addition to all required resources, you will also need a source of fuel (for example, a pile of wood) to power the production process.

It takes a certain amount of time to craft each item. If you don't want to wait until the process is complete, you can speed it up with Rubies.
