Dolphins' locations

Dolphins appear in the oceans. However, you won't find them in a frozen ocean.

Dolphin's behavior

Dolphins have a few types of behavior:

1. They avoid the Guardians and the Elder Guardians;
2. They play with objects thrown in the water;
3. If you travel next to a dolphin you will get the Dolphin's Grace effect;
4. In Bedrock Edition, traveling close to a dolphin increases your speed;
5. They often follow boats;
6. They can be placed in boats.

Dolphins and underwater ruins

If you feed a dolphin with cod, you will not only increase its trust, but also go on a trip to underwater ruins or a sunken ship.

Dolphins' weaknesses

Dolphins that are pulled out to the surface will begin to receive damage that will lead to their painful death.
