October 26, 2007. Although I was still too young for my parents to allow me to play the brutal The Witcher, it was probably on this day that many of you began your adventure with something that within a few years turned into one of the most popular game series of all time.

Exactly 16 years ago, the game hit store shelves and quickly won the hearts of gamers. It was not a work without flaws, and certainly looking at it today, we see how much it has aged. However, CD Projekt RED, to celebrate the anniversary, decided to take us back in time a bit by posting an occasional video on its social media..

This little over half a minute long video packs a lot of nostalgia, which is sure to appeal to experienced gamers. We have a computer in a gray, archaic casing, which runs on (of course) classic Windows XP.

Watching the video prepared by the devs, you can't help but smile to yourself, muttering under your breath "those were the days". After all, we used DVDs to install a game instead of Steam, an optical drive was the standard, and the world had not yet become well acquainted with "gaming accessories for gamers."

Those who remember those times will certainly appreciate this return to the past; younger generations, on the other hand, can take a look into the gaming room of 2007.
