Apex Legends' Steam Ratings Dropping; Game's Technical Condition Blame

The increasingly poor technical condition of Apex Legends is reflected in the game's reviews on Steam. The community is unforgiving and the criticism is starting to outweigh the positive voices.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Technical issues of Apex Legends have turned the community's sentiment towards the game into hate.

Apex Legends has been struggling with constant technical issues for a long time, which is reflected in the rating that appears next to the game on Steam. The game's community is already tired of its condition and vents in reviews, which have dropped to "mixed".

What is the most common complaint? Apex's disastrous technical condition; the long-standing problems with server stability, the constant freezing, and crashes. Each update, instead of solving the problems, brings new ones. Those who suggest that criticism comes from "fresh users" are wrong. Just take a look at the list of negative reviews to see that the vast majority come from people with hundreds of hours of lost gameplay.

Respawn Entertainment spoke out some time ago about the notorious server troubles. The devs even prepared and released a patch to remedy this, but as it turns out - little has changed. Some suggest that we are watching the beginning of the end of the game. Although I'd personally be careful with such statements, I can understand the community's concern.
