New Video Completes Baldur's Gate 3's Villain Trio - Meet Shapeshifter Orin
Larian Studios has released a new trailer for Baldur's Gate 3, which takes a closer look at shapeshifter Orin - one of the game's three main antagonists - who is voiced by Maggie Robertson, known for her role as Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village.
The time has come for us to get to know better the third - after General Ketheric Thorm and Lord Enver Gortash - main antagonist from Baldur's Gate III. She is shapeshifter Orin, who will be voiced by Maggie Robertson, an actress particularly known for her role as Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village.
The character she plays can be seen in the above trailer. In addition to several scenes with Orin, the footage includes a short interview with Robertson, who seems delighted with her role.
"Orin is charmingly unbalanced. You never know where she's going to show up, you never know what kind of character she's going to take on, she's extremely sneaky and uses all her assets to get what she wants.
One of the physical aspects of Orin that I really cared about was her relationship with her weapons, with her blades. She has a very intimate relationship with them, treating them almost as individuals.
To find myself in the same production - not to mention sharing scenes - with J.K. Simmons and Jason Isaacs, who play the roles of General Ketheric Thorm and Gortash, is a great honor and source of inspiration for me. I was very excited to follow their work on this game and to perform with them in the scenes together where we create a cruel "triumvirate" of evil.
Orin is one of the most terrifying characters in Baldur's Gate III. Encountering her will be a real no-holds-barred ride for players, which I hope they will enjoy and share their disturbing impressions with me."
As a reminder, let me add that Baldur's Gate III will make its PC debut on August 3, which is exactly one week from today. Yesterday we found out, at what time you will be able to start playing. On September 6 the title will also come out on PS5.
