Blizzard Entertainment is currently working hard on the 4th season of Diablo IV, set to launch on servers on May 14th, and also on the newest expansion to World of Warcraft, titled The War Within. However, it turns out that the studio also plans to develop a new, yet unannounced game, which could be an action RPG in the style of soulslike.

At least that's what we can conclude from the job offers posted on the company's official website, which unfortunately don't reveal much to us. We know that the game will be divided into quests and that the enemies require the development of "fine-tuned" artificial intelligence, which indicates that we are probably dealing with a PvE-focused title.

Blizzard also refers to "making combat intuitive to learn, challenging to master, and satisfyingly fun" and "memorable bosses," which undoubtedly evokes the games of the FromSoftware studio.

Under your care, monsters will be interesting, memorable, and challenging, from the initial threats all the way to legendary boss encounters players will talk about for decades.

It's worth noting that the company is looking for new employees for many positions, which indicates that the game is at a very early stage of production, and there is a possibility that it will never see the light of day. It was similar in the case of the recently canceled Odyssey survival game or the PvE mode for Overwatch 2.

Blizzard definitely wants to develop a new game, even though most of these are just speculations that may have no basis in reality. Blizzard's titles may have lost their magic for many, but they still generate significant interest, and if something comes out of this project, it will probably receive a lot of attention.
