First Gameplay From RTS Broken Arrow, Competitor to the Wargame Series

A gameplay from the upcoming RTS Broken Arrow has surfaced on the web. Steel Balalaika is preparing a real feast for the fans.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • A gameplay video from Broken Arrow has been released;
  • Steel Balalaika's game is a hardcore RTS focused on commanding modern armed forces;
  • For now, we do not know the title's release date.

A few months ago Broken Arrow, an RTS inspired by such titles as Wargame or World in Conflict, was announced. It raised the hopes of fans hungry for games of this type. Now, the devs ar Steel Balalaika shared the first gameplay footage from their work, and it looks really promising.

Two videos have been posted on YouTube. The first is a full-fledged gameplay, and the second acts as a gameplay trailer. Both materials give us an insight into the game's basic gameplay premise. It will be a strategy game, in which we will not collect resources or build extensive bases. Instead, it will be necessary to use our available troops to maximum advantage.

Broken Arrow, like the aforementioned Wargame, is a title in which the skill of planning and setting up ambushes will be more important than the speed of reaction. Missions will be set in a realistic and extensive environment. The map will include fields, forests and villages, and all these elements will affect the nature of the battles.

Moreover, we'll have a rich arsenal at our disposal. During battles we'll have to control armored columns, infantry units, artillery or helicopters. The success will depend on the skillful coordination of all kinds of armed forces.

Unfortunately, the release date of Broken Arrow has not been revealed yet. However, you can add it to your wish list on Steam.
