IN A NUTSHELL:
Slitherine Software announced Broken Arrow – a strategy game that draws inspiration from such productions as World in Conflict and the Wargame series. Steel Balalaika studio is responsible for the title. Developers also showed off a trailer of their work, and it's worth noting that it's the so-called in-engine material.
The creators of Broken Arrow describe their work as a "real-time tactical game about modern war". The game is to show large-scale conflicts. We will get the opportunity to lead two factions (Americans and Russians) and choose from hundreds of different combat units divided into seven categories: reconnaissance, infantry, combat vehicles, support, logistics, helicopters and air support. Players will also be able to create their own units by customizing their weapons and various gear.
We also got to know the initial system requirements - it seems that comfortable experience in maximum detail settings will require 12 gigabytes of RAM.
Broken Arrow will be released exclusively on PC. The publisher did not give a specific release date for now, but it should come out "soon".
