Broken Arrow is a real-time strategy game, which refers to such games as World in Conflict or Wargame. The project presents the story of a fictional armed conflict between the USA and Russia. We can use various modern weaponry on the battlefield. There is a story campaign and we can also use a built-in scenario editor.
Broken Arrow is a real-time strategy that presents a fictional conflict between the United States and Russia in the modern world. This project refers in its gameplay style to titles such as World in Conflict or Wargame - it shows large-scale clashes using modern weaponry. It was developed by Steel Balalaika studio. The publisher is Slitherine.
In Broken Arrow we watch the action from various perspectives - from a distant bird's eye view to close-ups of individual units.
The game is about controlling troops and taking part in great clashes of armies using modern equipment. The player can lead one of two factions - either USA or Russia - and use several hundred units divided into six categories: reconnaissance, infantry, combat vehicles, support, helicopters, and air forces.
The game also offers the possibility of customizing the equipment and gear of our soldiers (we can choose specialized equipment, such as thermal imaging goggles, silencers, or drones used for reconnaissance) and vehicles (we can change the armor and choose a range of additional equipment).
In Broken Arrow we can play solo or with other people. The game offers a story campaign and an online multiplayer module (PvP).
In addition to this, the game provides a scenario editor, which is the same set of tools that the developer used to create campaign missions. Projects developed with the editor can be shared through Steam Workshop and other means.
Broken Arrow has 3D graphics kept in a realistic style. This allowed to faithfully recreate models of vehicles and other military equipment.
