The mobile version of Once Human has become a reality. Is controller support possible, though? This is what you will find out in our article.
Once Human is a free survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Following the game's positive reception on PC, the title was released on mobile devices on April 23, 2025. As it features a lot of shooting at enemies, precision is key here. For this reason, many people are wondering whether it will be possible to use gamepads for the mobile version. Is a controller support even possible? We will tell you.
Nowadays, boundaries between platforms are less and less clear. Mobile games are released on PC and vice versa. No wonder that some developers of mobile titles are reaching out to their community, adding controller support for players’ convenience. In the case of Once Human mobile, it is not a reality, yet. However, the good news is that one of the admins of the official server on Discord, reported that the creators have confirmed that such support will appear in the game in the future. For now, however, they want to focus on technical aspects, improving optimization in particular. Nevertheless, we have to take it with a grain of salt, as the source the admin refers to is from the previous year. Let’s remember that plans can change.
The waiting time for controller support for Once Human mobile may also extend for one more reason. After all, it was implemented for the PC version, yet a lot of players complain that it doesn't work as expected. Therefore, we can assume that the developers will first deal with polishing it, and only then will they start (if at all) implementing support for the mobile version.
While it is not certain, we can definitely hope that at some point we will see controller support on mobiles, just as with Delta Force mobile. At this point, however, there is nothing left to do but wait for more information.
