Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay is finally here. Weve got all the interesting timestamps - picture #1

5 years of waiting have led us to this. Cyberpunk 2077 48-minute gameplay footage shown behind closed doors at E3 and gamescom is finally here for everybody to see. Either delve into it right away here…

…or choose a timestamp that interests you the most (spoilers ahead! As much as you can spoil a pre-alpha footage, anyway):

0:41 – 1:40: Character selection and customization (starring: gender, perk, and backstory selection)
1:41 – 7:55: V (the protagonist) and her friend Jackie shoot their way through a megabuilding apartment to save a girl from overdosing (starring: shooting mechanics; destructible environment; nudity)
7:55 – 12:46: V roams around her apartment and the megabuilding she lives in (starring: object interaction; lively crowds)
12:47 – 13:40: V enters Night City downtown (starring: “the most believable city in any open world game to date”; community system)
13:41 – 16:33: V gets a quest from Dexter Deshawn (starring: cutscenes; dialogue system)
16:34 – 18:53: V is en route to her ripperdoc, who’ll upgrade her cyberware (i.e. her hardware) (starring: bustling Night City market and the city’s dark corners)
18:55 – 23:22: V is getting new cyberware installed in a looong cutscene (starring: upgrade selection and price)
24:31 – 25:39: V and Jackie leave in a car and engage in a drive-by shooting (starring: driving mechanics; driving in first person perspective; shooting-while-driving mechanics)
25:40 – 26:52: V drives to her contact at the storm channel (starring: driving in third person perspective)
26:53 – 30:20: V meets her contact and gets caught, needs to defuse the situation and receives a key quest item (starring: dialogue tree and possibilities)
32:20 – 37:06: V and Jackie arrive at a gang hideout to buy a bot, and the situation gets out of hand (starring: real-time responsive cutscene)
37:07 – 39:20: V tries out a few different ways to get out of the hideout (starring: the influence of skills on the gameplay)
39:21 – 42:10: V has to shoot her way through the hideout using every firearm at her disposal (starring: different types of firearms – pistols, shotguns, smartguns, “corpo-tech rifles”; different fire modes and ammo types, e.g. penetrating rounds; special abilities – ricocheting bullets, slow-mo; dismemberment effects)
42:11 – 44:05: the shootout is almost over, and V slowly gets to the final stage (starring: sneaking mechanics; hacking into somebody’s neural network; high-level abilities showcase)
