It looks like Blizzard has ambitious plans to develop Diablo Immortal. The game will receive updates every two weeks.
Blizzard shared plans for further development of Diablo Immortal. They clearly indicate that this title is an important item in the company's portfolio. After all, it will receive further updates with new content every two weeks.
Updates for Diablo Immortal will be divided into two categories - small and large. The former will be associated with new content, e.g. new seasons of the combat pass or in-game events.
The big updates, on the other hand, will include new gameplay features, free story expansions and larger events.
Blizzard announced, however, that the aforementioned new features may also appear in the game as standalone updates, rather than patches debuting every two weeks. If any content meets the quality requirements of the developers, it will reach the players sooner.
In addition, small patches focused on bug fixes will appear even more frequently. Information about them will be published on Blizzard's blog.
Coming tomorrow, Diablo Immortal will also receive another update that will kick off Season 3, called Aspect of Justice. As part of the combat pass, 40 ranks will be put into your hands with challenges and rewards, such as legendary gems and emblems.
This season will be active until September 1. So you have to hurry if you intend to unlock all possible achievements.
You can also invest your savings in enhanced versions of the combat pass, which will certainly make it easier for you to earn rewards. Besides, you will receive additional gifts in the set (such as decorative elements for weapons).
