Dicefolk is a strategy game with rougelike elements, in which players take on the role of a character controlling a magic dice and commanding creatures called chimeras. Each of them has unique abilities. The pillar of the gameplay is duels, which take place in a turn-based system. Such a format is ideally suited for PC gaming, but it is suitable for others platforms, too. This is the reason why fans of this production are wondering if Dicefolk will also come out on consoles, such as PS5, Xbox and Switch. In our guide we will try to answer this question.

Dicefolk – Console (PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox) Release

Dicefolk premiered on the 27th of February this year and was positively reviewed by many players. The title, at this point, has been released exclusively for PC on the Steam platform. Not surprisingly, there are questions among the community whether the production will also be released on other platforms.

Unfortunately, for now there is no indication that Dicefolk will be released on consoles. It is possible in the future, although the developers of this title have not spoken on the matter so far. This is not surprising, given the fact that the studio's employees, for the moment, prefers to focus on improving their PC version of the game.

Usually, creating ports for a game is not a cheap project. Indie studios generally don't have so much money that they can afford to release console ports on their own. The case is different, however, when such a studio has a publisher. In the case of Dicefolk, this is a Good Shepherd. There is a hope that the game will appear on other platforms because the publisher's portfolio includes several productions that have been released on consoles, such as Hellboy Web of Wyrd and John Wick Hex. The sales result will probably play a key role in this decision. For the moment, there is nothing left to do but wait for information from the developers.
