Dragon's Dogma 2 is Really Being Made; Official Announcement

Capcom has finally shown Dragon's Dogma II, the sequel to the excellent action RPG from 2012. The trailer for the project was revealed during the PlayStation Showcase organized by Sony.

1. The footage included a handful of in-game cutscenes and, most importantly, gameplay footage.
2. The arcade combat system shown in the trailer looks very promising. The material shows clashes using both melee weapons and bows and spells.
3. Exquisitely executed skirmishes were the main attraction of the first installment, and Capcom knows that the fans expect the same from the sequel.

No planned release date was given at the show. There was also no mention of the target platforms Dragon's Dogma II is headed for. However, judging by Capcom's recent projects, we expect the game to hit PC, Xbox Series X, Xboxka Series S and PlayStation 5.
