Everything about Monorail in Terra Nil

In this guide we will talk about the Monorail in Terra Nil. It is a very important structure. Especially in the later parts of the game.

Terra Nil is a recently launched puzzle game that revolves around the theme of nature. The objective of the title is to restore barren landscapes by clearing waste and re-establishing flora and fauna in different locations. While the gameplay is predominantly soothing, it does include certain aspects that might pose a challenge. For example, the mechanics of Monorail. In this guide we will talk about them.

What is Monorail in Terra Nil?

Monorail is a system of transportation. You can and should connect the whole region with it. Monorail can transport some of the building in different places, which may save you some space and resources. However, there is also more important role of these structures – they are essential in recycling.

At the end of the level, in the last phase, you have to recycle buildings and leave the region to plants and animals. However, to do that you have to collect structures with the drone. Your robotic friend moves to different locations thanks to the Monorail system.

How to use Monorail in Terra Nil

Monorail does not need electricity (luckily). However, it needs to be placed on the rock or (the last part of the game) concrete. It is very specific, so you should plan accordingly and use buildings like Calcifier to create appropriate environment.

Picking the Monorail node and selecting a building will allow you to put the structure in the available space along the Monorail trail. However not all buildings can be moved.

In the last phase of the region, you will be able to create special orders for your drone on the Monorail. Your machine will go to the selected node, destroy and recycle surrounding buildings, and remove the pillar afterwards. The Monorail has to be also recycled to finish the level.
