Fallout 4: Wasteland Workshop DLC coming out next week

Fallout 4: Wasteland Workshop DLC will go live on April 12. The add-on will bring multiple innovations to settlement building, most notably capturing and taming beasts.

Bethesda Softworks has announced that the second DLC to Fallout 4, entitled Wasteland Workshop, will be out next week, on April 12. The add-on will simultaneously hit all three platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, free of charge for all Season Pass owners – others can buy it for $4.99. Wasteland Workshop will introduce a load of new items and tools for settlement building. Apart from new traps, furniture, plants, and hunting trophies, you will get a chance to capture and tame wild creatures or have them fight you for entertainment, or your enemies for defence. These and other highlights are presented in the new trailer:

Coming up next is the Far Harbor DLC, which will take the players beyond the Commonwealth, in May. According to the official website, it will be “the largest landmass Bethesda Game Studios has ever created for post-release content”. Speaking in The Elder Scrolls language, if Wasteland Workshop is Hearthfire then Far Harbor will be like Shivering Isles, only bigger still.

Bethesda promises to release more add-ons in 2016. There will also be free updates, including the Creation Kit that will let PC players create and share mods across all platforms.
