As you can see, the new requirements will be significantly higher than the current ones. However, despite the improved graphics quality, the devs still intend to make a PlayStation 4 version of the game.
In addition, next year the free trial version of the game will be expanded to include the content of the Stormblood DLC. This will occur with the release of Update 6.5, the open beta of which is scheduled for spring.
It's also worth mentioning that the developers have finally announced a version of Final Fantasy XIV intended for Microsoft consoles. The release for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will debut in spring next year. The release will be preceded by an open beta.
