Free 2023 RPG Honkai Soon to Get Version 2.0 With Tons of Features
We already know when the hit free-to-play RPG Honkai: Star Rail will receive update 2.0. The patch will offer a new planet, additional characters and advance the main storyline.
miHoYo studio has finally revealed the release date for the 2.0 update of the free-to-play RPG Honkai: Star Rail.
- Patch 2.0 will be released on February 6th this year.
- Its main attraction will be the addition of a new planet, Penacony. It used to serve as a prison, but eventually evolved into a galactic resort.
- The update will also introduce new Trailblaze Missions, which are missions that push the main storyline forward. The separate story will begin, and we will receive its subsequent chapters in updates 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3, with the last one providing several epilogues to the story.
- The patch will also introduce three new characters.
- Moreover, the developers promise improvements to the interface. For instance, the game will suggest relic sets for each character, and the so-called Fate Atlas will help to better understand previous story events.
Let's recall that Honkai: Star Rail is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices with iOS and Android systems. Patch 2.0 is set to be released on February 6th across all aforementioned platforms.
Honkai: Star Rail was released in April 2023. The title proved to be a massive success, with over 20 million downloads on the day of its release. The game received a warm welcome - the PC version has an average rating of 80% according to Metacritic.
