EA account owners report that some games have disappeared from their collections for no clear reason. Internet users have reported in online discussions that they received a notification about the deletion of some items from their account after logging into the service. No special justification was given in any of these cases (via Reddit).

Some people argue that it's simply an application mistake and all that is required is to restart the service client for the games to reappear in the collection. However, for some, the solution to the problem wasn't that simple.

The publisher doesn't seem to have done this on purpose. Electronic Arts is investigating the situation and should soon contact players about this matter (via the publisher's official forum and the EA Help account on X). The EA PC application is reported to have a malfunction according to the official statement from the publisher. It seems to pertain to titles purchased from sources other than the EA store, such as Steam or the Epic Games Store.

It's worth adding at the end that the matter applies to both multiplayer games and single player titles. Now we only have to wait for more updates from EA. You can also verify whether any of your selected games have been removed from your accounts without a reason.
