Today we will receive the Valhalla DLC for God of War: Ragnarok, announced at The Game Awards 2023. Kratos' new, and most importantly, free adventure will be made available at 9 a.m. PT on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles (taking about 7.6 GB)..

God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla launches

Previous rumors have been confirmed and Santa Monica Studio, responsible for the brand, has created a continuation of the journey of the famous Spartan, which is to be a reflective look into the warrior's Greek past.

In turn, the gameplay is expected to use solutions typical of the roguelike genre. This means, among other things, that each death will force us to restart the challenge.

To play God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla you need to own the base game. This was also mentioned by the developers in the recently released video, which discusses the upcoming expansion in detail, focusing on its five key elements.

God of War: Ragnarok has accumulated a sizable number of positive reviews since its release last year. Currently on Metacritic the average rating for the title is as high as 94/100 for the PlayStation 5 version (with a total of 149 reviews from critics).

The game in question hit the market on November 9, 2022.
