Game devs are more likely to skip older Sony and Microsoft consoles when releasing their games. Sometimes they also stop developing already existing titles in PS4 and Xbox One versions. Rockstar Games opted for the latter approach with GTA Online and GTA V.
During the last update, the devs from Rockstar informed PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners that in just over a month they will lose access to the Rockstar Editor.
The developers clarify that this decision will help them maintain better game stability on older consoles and continue to provide new features in GTA Online on PS4 and Xbox One for as long as they can. Let's remind that thanks to the Rockstar editor, you can record your gameplay, and then edit it using the built-in options.
