What can come out if you mix GTA V with Assetto Corsa? A phenomenal rally through the streets of Los Santos. Some time ago, the Project Sim Racing channel on YouTube published a video, in which a mod for this popular racing game was presented.

The entire footage lasts a little over 10 minutes and brilliantly shows how fast driving through the city, which was the main place of action in the last installment of Grand Theft Auto. The video was shared two months ago and has received more than 414,000 views and just under nine thousand thumbs up (with 177 thumbs down)..

  1. These numbers are really impressive, considering the small number of subscribers to Project Sim Racing. As of this moment, the channel is watched by just under 38 thousand viewers.
  2. The founder of the channel specializes in testing driving simulators, using for this purpose very good equipment, whose specifications can be found under each video.
  3. His adventure with Project Sim Racing began in 2010, and since then he has released many materials similar to the one above. Among them is, for example, driving in WRC or Euro Track Simulator 2, which you can watch below.

If you yourself want to implement the mod referred to as "Assetto Corsa GTA V" in your copy of the game you should watch the developer's tutorial, which is available here.

Let's note that Assetto Corsa used in the video in question is already quite a "vintage" production - the game from Kunos Simulazioni was released in 2014. However, this does not change the fact that it enjoys recognition at least on Steam, where it received almost 109 thousand reviews so far, of which as much as 92% are positive.

Finally, let's mention that the developers of Assetto Corsa are working on the second part, which should debut next year. It is possible that the same will happen with the sixth installment of GTA - Rockstar Games is expected to officially show at the game's first trailer in early December.
