Game developers often join forces, but the latest collaboration is, well... quite surprising. Soon World of Warships players will be able to use characters from Heroes of Might and Magic 3. It can be said with a clear conscience that this is something that absolutely no one could have expected.

The upcoming update to World of Warships will include 6 characters known from HoMM 3, who will steer ships assigned to different sides of the World War II conflict:

  • Catherine Ironfist - German fleet,
  • Sandro - the American fleet,
  • Mephala - British fleet,
  • Solmyr - Japanese fleet,
  • Nymus - Soviet fleet,
  • Gunnar - French fleet.

Each of the heroes and heroines will have their own dialogue lines, as well as 10 skill points to spend during naval battles. Two heroes are dubbed by the original voice actors - Catherine Ironfist and Sandro.

The update will be released on October 19, and the highlights it introduces will be in effect until November 9. In addition to the characters from HoMM 3 a new procedurally generated map will also come to the game, as well as a soundtrack from the classic from years ago.

World of Warships is available exclusively on PC in free-to-play model.
